Cyber Defense · SOC Operations · Detection Engineering

I’ve spent over five years in cybersecurity, working across SOC operations, incident response, detection engineering, and team leadership in high-stakes telecom and government environments. Add a few more years if you count the time spent learning, experimenting, and breaking things long before any of it made it onto my CV.

My journey has taken me through Ministry of Defense infrastructure, enterprise security at e& Egypt, and now cyber defense leadership at Geotech in Saudi Arabia. Different roles, different challenges, and plenty of stories worth telling.

Today, I lead cyber defense strategy at Geotech, ensuring on-prem and GCP cloud security aligns with NCA (ECC/CSCC) regulatory frameworks. This blog publishes my independent research on browser fingerprinting, platform surveillance, and digital forensics — in Arabic and English.

There’s a lot more to the story, but I’ll save that for another page.
